Stop by at Jausenstation Raineralm (‘Jause’ = a light Austrian meal), in the beautiful Seebach valley. You can sample Carinthian specialities made using products from their own alpine pasture, such as Fleischnudel (meat pasta parcels), Kärntnernudel (pasta parcels with traditional Carinthian recipe filling), Kletzennudel (pasta parcels with dried pears), Brettljausn (traditional snack served on a wooden board) and Kaiserschmarren (traditional dessert).

If you would like to learn how wool is made into felt, this workshop at the quaint Lader farmhouse near Mörtschach is just the place for you! The workshop lasts about an hour, and at the end of it everybody will hold in their hands their very own work of art.

Heiligenblut Gold Diggers’ Village
The fever of the gold rush will grip you too! In the only gold diggers’ village in the Alps, in the Fleiß valley near Heiligenblut. Reconstructing the original, this small settlement has been newly erected on historic ground. After visiting the village, you may even find a small nugget, panning for gold in the Fleiß stream.
Celtic cup stone
Already distinctive from a distance the cone-shaped Danielsberg mountain stands proud at the entrance to the lower Möll valley. The mountain consists of especially hard rock so that the glaciers of the Ice Ages were not able to grind it down.
